Council, Examination Committee and CLE Staff on a Retreat to deliberate on Examination Processes

The Council of Legal education organized a retreat to deliberate on examination guidelines. The Council Members led by the committee Chair, Dr. Nelly Wamaitha, the Ag. CEO Ms. Jennifer Gitiri and CLE staff are key participants in this process. This retreat aims to develop comprehensive and robust guidelines for the Advocates Training Program (ATP) examination processes.

The Key Objectives for this process is to:

•    Review Current Processes: Evaluate the existing ATP examination processes to identify strengths and areas needing improvement.
•    Implement Technological Solutions: Explore the integration of modern technology to streamline examination management, from registration to results dissemination.
•    Standardize Procedures: Establish clear, standardized procedures for setting, administering, and marking exams.

By the end of this retreat, the examination committee aims to
•    Draft a detailed set of guidelines for the ATP examination process.
•    Identify actionable steps to implement these guidelines effectively.
•    Foster a collaborative approach to continuous improvement in our examination processes.
