To give general direction and leadership to the Council of Legal Education in the achievement of its vision, mission, strategies and annual goals and objectives.
To implement the strategic goals, objectives and mandate of the Council.
Administer the day to day operations of the Council in line with Council policy and national goals.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out the duties of the Secretary to the Council.
Provide administrative and managerial services of the Council.
Plan, develop and coordinate a regulatory framework for legal education providers under the Legal Education Act No. 27 of 2012.
Plan, develop and coordinate a successful strategic direction for the Council.
Plan, develop and provide an effective and efficient management system of the council assets and facilities, including human, financial, administration and information management resources;
Plan, develop and oversee a quality assurance system of all activities of the Council of Legal Education.
Plan, develop and oversee marketing, public relations and community interests of the Council.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Council of Legal Education.
